This is André Zumaeta Kin332I S3017:

Modern media is revolutionizing the way society view sports. Facebook, myspace, twitter and multiple blogs are all being used today to network among athletes and let out information. I believe that for the most part, these programs serve good intentions but they can also play a deviant role. For example, womentalksports.com help female athletes to network amongst eachother and have support on issues that they go through as female athletes. This helps them cope with current society and the unfairness that is presented to them through sports.
On the other hand, many undesirable posts can be submitted through these sources of media. I would not want my university to disclose on twitter information that I will be recruited to that school. And I'm sure the athletic department would not want that either as they can be liable. Posting unpleasant comments about rival team and individual athletes can also have potential problems. Because of these sites and programs, more laws are being produced to regulate and keep things under control.
