Performance Drugs in Baseball

Over the past years, the performance enhancing drugs in baseball has grown in seemingly uncontrollable levels. With A-Rod being constantly questioned about his previous drug use and Mark McGuire admitting to using performance-enhancing drugs, baseball seems to have some big problems. However, these problems in baseball are not only concerns in the professional level. There have been more and more stories of high school students using steroids. With expectations so high and pressure on kids to become "superstar athletes", it seems that kids will do so at any cost, even if it is harmful and possibly fatal. I believe that some serious steps need to be taken in order to "save" the image of baseball. Don't get me wrong, baseball has taken step in order to try and rid itself of performance enhancing drugs, I just believe that bigger steps need to be taken. Also, these preventive actions need to be taken at the lower levels (high school, college, etc.).
